Using synthetic fiber is a deal breaker for me personally. I go out of my way to find non-toxic, no crude biproducts components to produce this line. I choose top quality textiles that perform better creating long lasting heritage. I refuse to use any synthetic if the natural option is available. We are committed to natural fiber textiles, natural trims and embellishments.
P.S. However, in era of mighty polyester we cannot avoid synthetics all together YET. Our goal is to minimize the damage and lead our customers and supporters to clean fashion.

I am Justyna Smart,
I started my brand as an answer to a lifelong calling. I do not want to make another trendy
dress in polyester. After 40 years in business, I want to leave behind a meaningful
heritage. I am inspired by golden age couturiers, bounty of nature and history of humanity.
Every gown of mine has a deep meaning enhanced by meticulous attention to details. I love
structure and fine tailoring.
There is nothing more intimate than hand stitching.
Each design is personally curated by me, from concept to sketch, draping, pattern and first
design development. To quote Karl Lagerfeld “Trendy is the last stage before tacky” I aspire
to create timeless pieces.
I am following the footsteps of our female ancestors that spent their lifetimes at the looms creating the finest textiles and hand stitch garments we get to admire upon their archeological discoveries.
I am intrigued by historical embellishments, embroidery and beading; the millennia old
symbolism that carries profound female communication, spells and longings.
I find it fascinating that our female strength and tenacity carry our civilization.
